Tyler Perry Comfims that He Will be a Father
NEW YORK (AP) – Tyler Perry confirms he’s going to be a dad.
Rumors have circulated that the 45-year-old Perry and girlfriend, Gelila Bekele, were expecting a child. But Perry had not made a public statement.
When asked about the prospects Friday at the opening night of the New York Film Festival, Perry responded cheerfully.
“Good, good. We’re good. Very happy. She’s excited, I’m excited so we’re very happy,” Perry told The Associated Press.
Perry was walking the red carpet for his latest film, “Gone Girl,” based on the best-selling novel.
Directed by David Fincher, the film also stars Ben Affleck, Neil Patrick Harris and Rosamund Pike.
Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose File for Divorce
Well that was fast. After just celebrating their 1 year wedding anniversary, Wiz and Amber are a done deal already.
In the divorce docs — obtained by TMZ — Amber says they split on Monday and cites irreconcilable differences.
Amber is asking for full legal and physical custody of their 1-year-old son Sebastian. She’s willing to give Wiz visitation.
And this is interesting. Amber acknowledges there’s a prenup, which you would think would work in Wiz’s favor, but she says it’s valid … presumably, she’s not challenging it. The docs say the prenup provides spousal support.
As for why they split, there’s been a buzz over the last few days of infidelity, but there’s no mention of it in the papers.
We got video (below) of Amber with some guy Tuesday in Bev Hills. Our photog asks her if Wiz is keeping a close eye on Nick Cannon — there are rumors they’ve hooked up, but she’s mum.
Sources connected with the couple say the split is bitter.

Bow Wow & Erica Mena of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta Gets Engaged After Six Months
Congrats! Rapper Bow Wow and girlfriend Erica Mena (star of VH1’s Love and Hip Hop Atlanta) are engaged, after just six months of dating.
The musician (real name Shad Moss) confirmed his happy news via Instagram, showing off not only fiancee Mena’s new bling, but also his matching diamond-encrusted Rolex watch.
Mena, 27, first let slip her happy news at the BET Awards in Atlanta on Saturday, Sept. 20. When asked by E! about her boyfriend, the happy reality star replied, “Uh..he’s actually my fiance!”
After thanking fans for their well wishes via Twitter, Bow Wow, 27, who started his professional life as Lil Bow Wow aged 13, proceeded to share the snap of the all important engagement ring.
According to reports, the pair met when Mena appeared on his BET show 106 & Park. After sharing a kiss on the famous couch, the couple became boyfriend and girlfriend.

Keyshia Cole Arrested On Suspicion Of Battery Charge
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Police say Grammy-nominated R&B singer Keyshia Cole has been arrested on suspicion of battery after an altercation early Friday morning in Los Angeles.
Los Angeles police officer Nuria Vanegas says Cole was arrested around 5 a.m. after someone initiated a private person’s arrest. The 32-year-old was booked on suspicion of battery and released from custody Friday afternoon.
Police did not release any further details about the incident.
An email message sent to Cole’s publicist was not immediately returned.
Cole’s second album, 2007’s “Just Like You,” produced the songs “Let It Go,” ”I Remember” and “Heaven Sent.”

Kanye West Demands Wheelchair Bound Fan to Stand Up at His Concert
If Kanye is Yeezus, can he truly demand the disabled to stand up at his concerts? That’s the question thousands in attendance of a Kanye West’s concert in Sydney, Australia.
The Hufingtonpost says that Kanye West refused to continue his show on Friday night in Sydney, Australia until the entire audience was standing and dancing in physical Yeezus worship. Unfortunately for Kanye’s self-esteem, one of the audience members had a prosthetic leg and another was wheel-chair bound.
One concertgoer told the Daily Mail that he addressed the crowd saying “I can’t do this show until everybody stand up. Unless you got a handicap pass and you get special parking and s**t.” The fan waved her leg in the air and Kanye so kindly continued the show, stopping again when he saw there remained a single seated fan.
According to the tabloid, he then halted performance of “Good Life,” saying “‘This is the longest I’ve had to wait to do a song, it’s unbelievable,” before sending over a body-guard to check that the fan was differently disabled.
‘The crowd was also yelling that he was in a wheelchair but he waited for Pascal’s confirmation,‘ the witness said, while others said the crowd made ‘wheelchair motions’ to alert the singer to his mistake.
‘When he sent Pascal up there he said, ‘He is in a wheelchair? It’s fine!’ the witness reported.
